Job Description
DEVELOPMENT ANALYST
SUMMARY
As a Development Analyst you will play a crucial role in the initial stages of real estate development projects. This position involves conducting market research analyzing potential development sites performing financial feasibility studies and assisting in the due diligence process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and research skills a keen understanding of real estate market dynamics and the ability to interpret complex data. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential development opportunities assess market trends and evaluate competitive landscapes.
- Analyze potential development sites considering factors such as zoning regulations environmental conditions accessibility and surrounding infrastructure.
- Perform financial feasibility studies for proposed development projects including pro forma modeling cost analysis and risk assessment.
- Assist in the due diligence process reviewing legal documents environmental reports title reports and other relevant information.
- Gather and analyze data on demographics economic trends and housing demand to support development decisions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing market research findings site analysis and financial feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with the development team to evaluate potential development projects and formulate development strategies.
- Monitor industry trends regulatory changes and competitive activity to inform development decisions.
- Assist in the preparation of development proposals presentations and investment memorandums.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Undergraduate or MBA degree in real estate accounting finance business engineering or other related field.
- Minimum of 2 4 years of relevant work experience preferably multifamily focused.
- Ability to perform a variety of responsibilities with an attention to detail strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Must take initiative be independently resourceful prioritize time and perform within a team setting while maintaining focus and multitasking in a fast-paced time sensitive environment.
- Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office platforms are required must have strong MS Excel skills.
- Understanding of software platforms such as Bluebeam Procore and Microsoft Projects etc. is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit strong intellectual curiosity and advanced emotional intelligence.
- Must have a valid drivers license with no major infractions in the past 12 months.
