The Boeing CompanyThe Phantom Works Division of Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Phantom Works Proprietary Finance Manager (Level K) in Berkeley Hazelwood or Saint Charles Missouri (St. Louis Area).
This leader will lead a team of Financial Operations analysts in the execution of a proprietary development program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance excellent analytical skills and the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
This role is critical in ensuring the financial health of the division and will involve collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to drive financial performance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily financial operations including budgeting forecasting and reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement integrated organizational plans policies and procedures and guide the development of business and people strategies goals and objectives
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Analysis Cost Management Accounting Estimating Financial Planning Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- 3 years of experience leading and driving financial management strategies and processes
- Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working with multiple internal or external stakeholders (i.e. business partner customer Finance suppliers) in planning and driving projects
- Experience leading a team with a diverse statement of work
- Transformational change leader disruptive thinker; values diversity of thought and models the Boeing Values
