Key Elements Of The Role:
Prepares reports summarizing data points provided from other sources in response to joint efforts.
Assists in the development of standards and criteria for policy alternatives in terms of the fiscal and operational implications;
Assists in the regulatory process for prior consults county planning system reports and administrative actions.
Maintains relevant technical complex and diverse records history and correspondence for all community based agencies contracted through the Division to provide services to county residents in an orderly and useful manner.
Determine needed modifications and improvements in project structure design administrative procedures and implementation of changes;
Assists in the preparation of cost analyses of alternative management systems procedures and methods;
Assists in the review of new and proposed federal state and local legislation to determine the effect on health programs and policies.
Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a college with federally-authorized accreditation or registration by NY State with a Bachelors Degree and two (2) years of experience in health administration including policy analysis planning management analysis operations research or program evaluation;
OR
A Masters Degree in Health Administration or a related field.
NOTE: Additional graduate education from a college with federally-authorized accreditation or registration by NY State in Health Administration or a related field will be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Type of license or certificate required: Valid NYS Drivers License upon appointment.
