Silicon Valley International School is seeking a French as a Second Language Teacher (FLE) (15%) and French Preschool Learning Assistant (85%) to join the Early Years Program for the academic year 2025-26.
As the French as a Second Language Teacher you will provide French language instruction and support primarily for Preschool students newer to French through engaging small-group or one-on-one sessions.You will collaborate with French teachers to support student language acquisition and build foundational French skills.
As a Learning Assistant at INTL you will work closely with our international group of teachers to support early years primary responsibility is to the safety and social-emotional well-being of our students. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package competitive pay commensurate with years of experience and generous paid time off.
The FLE Teacher/Learning Assistant works within the framework of the job description and assignment and makes decisions only within that framework. Learning Assistants are required to maintain certifications as required by the school and/or Social Services and keep all relevant certifications current.
This is a full-time non-exempt position that pays hourly and includes comprehensive benefits. Your supervisor will be the Director of Licensing and Enrichment Support. Depending on your relevant work experience and educational attainment the hourly rate of pay is based on an annual wage ranging from (CO-1) 62553 to (CO-20) $82375 plus a $5000 stipend for the FLE hours.

During summer care and mini-camp learning assistants are considered camp counselors. They are expected to plan and implement activities under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Licensing and Enrichment Support who will provide a theme for the camps and help to organize planning. The learning assistant or camp counselor can use the available time the week before the mini-camp for planning and preparation. Time will be given in the summer care schedule to allow for weekly planning and preparation.
