Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Girls Basketball Coach
Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Girls Basketball Coach to join our athletic department. This position is responsible for supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of the girls basketball program including practices games athlete development and team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and conducting practices and training sessions
Support game strategy preparation and in-game coaching
Promote good sportsmanship academic performance and leadership among student-athletes
Help monitor athlete eligibility and team compliance with school and league regulations
Foster a positive inclusive and growth-focused team environment
Qualifications:
Prior coaching and/or playing experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to collaborate with coaching staff administration and parents
Must meet school and district coaching requirements (e.g. background check certifications)
