Key Role Details
This is a full-time paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2026.
Participation in the internship requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location in accordance with Capital Ones hybrid working model for the duration of the program.
Interns will be evaluated for a full-time position within our rotational programs with start dates six months to one year following the completion of the internship.
At this time Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B F-1 OPT F-1 STEM OPT F-1 CPT J-1 TN E-2 E-3 L-1 and O-1 or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer).
Basic Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher with an expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2027 or earlier (for example: If you are graduating with a Bachelors degree in May 2026 and are also currently enrolled in a full-time Masters degree program with an expected graduation date of May 2027 then your most recent full-time degree program is your Masters degree)
Must be continuing in the same course of study of your most recent full-time degree program following completion of the internship

As a Data Analyst Intern in the AIP you will:

In your role you will:
Harness cloud-based tools and platforms to explore structured and unstructured data
Use data mining techniques to identify fraud rings
Test the effectiveness of our marketing channels
Use modeling and analytics to understand how business decisions impact our bottom line.
Build the data foundation for Capital Ones digital agenda
Seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources and platforms to generate customer insight
Explore new data sources to enhance models and build solutions that empower analytics
Research web activities to drive enhancements to customer engagement sites
In this role youll learn to be:

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean VA: $109000 - $109000 for Data Analyst InternCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
