Minimum 8 years progressive experience in a Captive auto-finance collections and recovery environment. Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
Auto finance industry preferred.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Statistics Economics or related field.
Demonstrated ability to research detailed problems analyze data and present appropriate recommendations based on facts.
Ability to conceptualize design deploy and monitor test vs. control strategies.
Strong knowledge of operational systems operationally related software and business tools Microsoft products data analysis tools presentation software and data management software.
High degree of subject matter expertise in the financial services industry particularly as it relates to collections and call centers.
Strong organizational skills to meet competing deadlines.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written including persuasive presentation skills.
Ability to drive process improvement and process innovation and effectively propose changes while anticipating impact.
Proven leader to motivate coach and develop team members and drive results through others.
Ability to work well both as an individual contributor and as a member of a team.
Ability to work in a self-directed environment.
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting standing and walking and using a computer. Work is performed in an office environment.

What to Expect
The Sr. Manager Collections Strategy and Planning is primarily responsible for MBOD strategic initiative delivery and implementation for daily collection recovery and BK strategies. This role will work closely with the collection and recovery operations and the Risk department analyzing performance benchmarking and identifying areas of improvement managing headcount & staffing requirements reviewing trends and delinquent portfolio performance. This role requires regular presentations for internal review including strategy design & performance operational activities process/system enhancements and staffing capacity review.
What You Will Do
1. Creation design and implementation of Pre-C/O Recovery and BK Strategy. Develop strategies to enhance operational performance through test vs. control design. Work closely with operational teams to implement strategic changes. Develop monitoring tools to assist operational teams in managing new processes workflows and procedures.
2. Provide oversight and expertise for the Collections Team developing a thorough knowledge and understanding of all HCA systems and business applications. Work closely with Collections to ensure workflows maximize productivity and efficiency.
3. Manage and forecast capacity to maximize the collection staffing efficiency. Work closely with operational teams OSAT and FP&A. Develop monitoring tools to monitor agent productivity CAPE and CPU. Work and liaise with US-based and Global Teams to drive Collections operational performance.
4. Prepare presentations to support recommended strategy changes process enhancements performance changes and/or head count reviews based in appropriate analysis.
5. Lead mentor and develop team members by providing direction performance feedback and support to ensure effective collaboration professional growth and achievement of organizational and personal goals.
