Full Time Permanent 42.5 hours a week
Salary up to 14.09 per hour plus company van & fuel card
We provide the repairs and maintenance service in approx. 4500 Dover District Council properties Services provided: Responsive repairs Voids Disabled adaptations External and major work and Kitchens and bathroom refurbishments.
About the Role:
As a Glazier you will be working alongside Dover District Council providing a stable and profitable contract delivering excellent service and support through our local teams who understand the importance of working together for the local community.
As a Glazier you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing windows to ensure the safety security and comfort of tenants. Skilled in installing and replacing glass in residential properties often working on double-glazing units safety glass and energy-efficient fittings. You will be knowledgeable about building regulations and health and safety requirements specific to social housing as well as courteous and professional when engaging with residents ensuring minimal disruption during repairs or installations.
Role Criteria:
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
