Brief
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic Corporate UK team. The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with a strong background in M&A and joint venture transactions. Experience within the Energy and Resources sectorparticularly in oil and gasis essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile complex transactions in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

We are currently seeking a talented and driven Corporate Lawyer to join the Corporate UK team at Pinsent Masons LLP with a focus on the energy and resources sector. This team has within in a number of senior corporate partners including Rosalie Chadwick Jonathan Woolf and John Tyerman who collectively bring extensive experience in complex M&A and joint venture transactions particularly within the Energy and Resources sector with a strong focus on oil and gas. This is a unique opportunity to work closely in this market-leading team as they continue to build and shape a high-performing team at the forefront of this sector. These and other individuals have multiple rankings as leading lawyers in Chambers Legal 500 Thomson Reuters Whos Who Legal and other directories.
The wider Corporate UK team at Pinsent Masons is renowned for handling high-value cross-border transactions across a broad range of sectors including energy insurance and financial services. The practice is headed by Edward Stead with key support from Hannah Brader a financial services specialist widely recognised for advising global financial services groups on mergers and acquisitions joint ventures and reorganisations.

The Candidate Required
The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or a large regional practice. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Must have Oil and Gas experience
- Must have M&A and joint venture experience
- Must have at least 2 PQE experience at an international law firm
