Key Responsibilities

As the AG Territory Sales Representative you will drive growth by managing client relationships and expanding the customer base within your assigned territory. Your responsibilities will include:

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls networking and referrals.
  • Build and sustain strong long-term relationships with new and existing agricultural clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Promote and sell a portfolio of agricultural equipment and services.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales proposals and conduct product presentations.
  • Negotiate and close sales in alignment with business goals.

Market & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date with product lines market trends and competitor activity.
  • Understand customer operations to provide solutions that maximize their productivity.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Partner with marketing operations and service teams to align promotions and meet customer needs.
  • Share customer insights to improve product offerings and customer service initiatives.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.
  • Submit forecasts activity reports and performance metrics as required.

Customer Support & Issue Resolution:

  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries and issues.
  • Foster positive customer experiences to encourage retention and referrals.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:

Education & Experience:

  • 57 years of sales experience preferably in the agricultural or equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Technical Skills:

  • Quick to learn and articulate technical product information.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools is an asset.

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • High adaptability in fast-changing environments.
  • Skilled in negotiation problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Professional ethical and customer-focused approach.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
