Job Description
Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Technician & Installer
Location: Saint Louis Missouri 63104
Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician & Installer to join our team. This role involves the critical tasks of receiving inspecting installing troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of medical-grade equipment. Equipment includes surgical tables surgical lights booms and Sterile Processing Department (SPD) machinery. Ensuring all installations and services meet healthcare industry standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities-
Receive uncrate inspect and check in medical-grade equipment upon delivery.

Install maintain and service surgical tables surgical lights booms and SPD equipment.

Conduct preventive maintenance troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs.

Ensure all work complies with healthcare safety standards and regulations.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility staff during installations.

Operate independently when required while maintaining strong communication with the team.

Certification or training from an accredited technical school in Biomedical Electrical or Mechanical Technology (preferred).

2 3 years of hands-on experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and installation.

Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with electrical systems and HVAC systems is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Healthcare or laboratory environment experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
