Therapist
We are a growing private 134-bed psychiatric hospital that is dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults geriatrics andchildren (ages 5-17) who are suffering from behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our new state-of-the art medical facility in the Seven Hills area of Henderson Nevada. Henderson is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and is located just 7 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and a couple of miles from beautiful Lake Mead.

Join the team of highly dedicated mental health professionals. We are presently looking for a Full Time Sunday- Thursday Therapist who will be responsible for:
- Providing assessment interventions treatment planning and discharge planning as well as providing individual family and group therapy to further patient/family/group progress in treatment.
- Facilitating substance abuse groups with the adolescent/adult populations. This position will allow the opportunity for employee to complete chemical dependency assessments offer community resources and family education to support our patients during their recovery.
- Employing a variety of cognitive behavioral and insight oriented modalities of treatment.
- Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting each units treatment program assuring the deliverance of quality and consistently excellent treatment to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Masters Degree in Counseling Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited college or university
Licensure:
May be a NV licensed intern working towards licensure or fully licensed in CSW LCSW LPC APC MFT etc.;
Experience:
Minimum One (1) year experience working as a therapist in Mental Health preferably in an acute hospital setting or residential setting.
