We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Assistant to support our event planning and coordination efforts. This role involves assisting with the development logistics and execution of various corporate promotional and community events. You will play a key role in ensuring every detail is accounted for and every event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and organization of events including timelines vendor coordination and venue setup
Support the Event Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks
Communicate with clients vendors and internal teams to confirm event details
Handle on-site logistics including registration setup and breakdown
Maintain detailed records of event activities and prepare post-event reports
Coordinate travel arrangements shipments and materials for events
Track inventory of promotional and event supplies
Manage event calendars and scheduling
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Event Management Marketing Communications or related field (preferred)
1-2 years of experience in event coordination or administrative support
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as required
