Job Description
How youll make an impact
As a Senior Dental Assistant youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services while delivering an exceptional experience for every patient. Youll provide advanced chairside support during a range of general dental procedures and take the lead in managing sterilisation protocols and maintaining strict infection control standards. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the ordering and management of clinical stock and supplies helping to keep the practice well-organised and efficient.
In addition to your clinical duties youll support and mentor junior Dental Assistants helping them grow in confidence and capability. Youll also be confident using Exact dental software to manage bookings and clinical notes and be ready to assist with reception or administrative tasks whenever needed to ensure seamless daily operations. Your proactive team-focused approach will make you an essential part of our close-knit practice.
Qualifications :
Your experience and approach
We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant ideally at a senior level. NZDA certification is highly regarded and will be considered a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will be well-organised efficient and able to remain calm under pressure. A positive patient-focused attitude and a collaborative team spirit are essential. You should be confident using dental software and digital systems and demonstrate a high level of reliability punctuality and professionalism in everything you do.
