Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Health and Safety Office of the Ignitis Renewables team where youll support the development implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety programmes by combining regulatory compliance with data-driven insights. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure health and safety requirements are embedded into project planning and execution
  • Supporting strategic initiatives of the Health and Safety Department including policy updates campaign rollouts and harmonisation of procedures across the business
  • Gathering validating and analysing operational safety data from various sources such as incident reports audits and behavioural observations
  • Analysing leading and lagging indicators tracking key performance metrics (e.g. LTIFR TRIR SIF) and identifying emerging trends using data analysis tools such as Excel Power BI or equivalent
  • Preparing and presenting data-informed reports and dashboards for the Head of HSSE project sponsors and the company board communicating complex insights clearly and persuasively
  • Supporting the preparation and delivery of safety communications and awareness campaigns through Ignitis Renewables internal communication channels
  • Assessing the effectiveness of safety controls and interventions recommending improvements based on incident trends audit feedback and statistical analysis
  • Promoting continuous improvement in safety performance by identifying systemic issues and aligning practices with international standards such as ISO 45001.

Qualifications :

  • Higher education in Health and Safety or a related field meeting the legal qualification requirements for health and safety specialists
  • At least 3 years of experience in health and safety analysis data reporting or related functions 
  • Solid knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation including risk assessment and prevention practices
  • Excellent computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs and the ability to create clear compelling presentations for senior management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated responsibility initiative diligence honesty and sociability in professional settings
  • Willingness to pursue further education in response to industry-specific requirements
  • Fluency in English and ability to travel and stay overnight on occasion as needed for the role.
