THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solu-tions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.
The primary responsibility is to learn and perform various duties including working on different types of equipment onboard computer systems electrical driveline hydraulics troubleshooting and diagnostics under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist experienced technicians in reading and interpreting equipment manuals
Performing maintenance and service
Inspecting and servicing vehicles
Preparing inspection reports
Attending safety training
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2-3 years of experience in relevant field or in a shop setting
Strong interest in mechanics and willingness to learn is essential
Good attendance is a must
Basic tools required and willingness to get a CDL
Must be able to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous education in a technical degree program in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety are essential
Computer skills preferred
Competencies Required:
Willingness to learn and develop skills in completing DOT ANSI Crane or Bucket and Dielectric tests
Using a circuit tester or multimeter
Reading wiring diagrams
Troubleshooting PAT LMI and similar on-crane control systems.
Strong work ethic and willingness to adapt to change
