About the role:
PwCs Insurance Tax team is the market leader in the provision of tax services to the UK insurance market. We are seeking a Senior Insurance Tax Manager.
The role will require an ability to work as part of a team delivering a range of tax services to the insurance market.
The Insurance Tax team provides tax services to all sectors of the insurance market including general insurers life and health insurers reinsurance carriers brokers and the Lloyds of London market. Clients include the biggest names in UK insurance as well as the largest European US and Bermudan groups. Alongside the top tier insurance groups the team work with a large number of medium sized businesses and start-ups.
The team works nationally from offices in London Edinburgh Leeds Manchesterand Bristol.
What your days will look like:
Proactively managing a portfolio of clients within Financial Services Insurance while reporting to Directors and Partners.
Leading business development activities to help identify and further opportunities on new/existing clients.
Supporting Partners and Directors with various aspects of team leadership.
Leading business development activities to help identify and further opportunities on new/existing clients.
This role is for you if:
You have industry experience of working with financial services businesses whether in an advisory or in-house capacity.
You have a track record of managing the delivery of quality work in the financial services sector demonstrating a thorough understanding of businesses and relevant professional standards
You have a proven ability of establishing and maintaining trusted client relationships and confidence to lead discussions with senior clients.
You have extensive experience of managing a varied portfolio of clients and projects including all aspects of financial and risk management.
