An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor who is seeking to grow their career on some of Australias most ambitious and complex projects.
Reporting to the Construction Director the Stakeholder Engagement Advisor is responsible for leading the implementation of communications and stakeholder engagement plans on specific site-based projects within in Sydneys CBD.
This position can be full-time or suit someone looking for flexible arrangements!
Key accountabilities:
- Develop and effectively manage relationships with directly impacted stakeholders throughout the works
- Day-to-day liaison and consultation with project stakeholders to manage enquiries/complaints/concerns
- Collaborate with project team members regarding planned works and activities
- Identify potential stakeholder issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimise risks to project delivery
- Develop and implement project-specific communication materials and activities (i.e. notifications)
- Provide strategic support and guidance to project teams and lead stakeholder engagement presentations at meetings.

- Experience planning and implementing best practice communications and engagement strategies
- Experience in successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences
- Excellent skills in creating presentations for a variety of stakeholders
- Strong project management skills

- Driven with a desire to achieve outstanding results in a team environment

Qualifications
- Min 5 years communications or community relations experience where strong stakeholder management skills has been required for success
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Communications or Marketing
- Experience in construction infrastructure or associated industries highly preferred.
