Job Description

Were currently recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor to support and lead our dedicated Housekeeping team at Hilton Adelaide. If you have strong leadership skills a passion for detail and love creating a clean and welcoming guest experience wed love to hear from you.

Hilton Adelaide is centrally located overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel has 377 rooms ranging from guest rooms to the executive floor and suites. Hilton Adelaide offers unrivalled conference and events facilities comprising of 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide able to host 500 delegates to meet eat and sleep all under one roof.

What Will I Be Doing

  • Allocating daily duties to Housekeeping Team Members
  • Performing routine inspections of guest rooms and conducting spot checks on occupied rooms
  • Reporting and following up on maintenance issues or safety hazards
  • Assist with rostering managing timecards and attendance tracking to ensure efficient staffing and payroll accuracy
  • Inspecting service areas storage rooms and corridors for cleanliness and organisation
  • Supervising deep cleans and other periodic cleaning projects
  • Training and supporting Room Attendants and other housekeeping staff to meet performance standards
  • Managing stock levels and equipment care efficiently
  • Providing excellent guest service including handling VIP or special requests
  • Maintaining adherence to Hilton brand standards and policies at all times

What Were Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping supervisory or senior team member role
  • A successful track record of managing or mentoring a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confident communication and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel systems (advantageous)
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays
