Provide vital technical support and expertise for simulation operations and technology to include preparation maintenance and repair of complex computerized high-fidelity manikins and associated software and the efficient operation of the data capture systems related multimedia peripherals and validating data collected during scenarios.
This is a 10-month position for a professional staff member.
Department Overview:
As a team member of the College of Health Sciences Simulation Center this position provides vital technical support and expertise for simulation operations and technology to include preparation maintenance and repair of complex computerized high-fidelity manikins and associated software and the efficient operation of the data capture systems related multimedia peripherals and validating data collected during scenarios. This position is also charged with setup take-down moulage and programming of requested simulations ensuring that desired outcomes are achieved.
The individual in this position must be able to communicate with various groups of faculty staff and community members. Must be detail-oriented and articulate in order to communicate with manufacturers and other hardware/software providers regarding complex issues and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must be able to think critically identify problems troubleshoot and take action to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
Level Scope:
Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills policies and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.

MinimumQualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience.
