About the Role
As a Nurse Consultant you will:
Provide high-level clinical care to patients
Lead and support mental health service improvements
Mentor and supervise junior staff student nurses and multidisciplinary team members
Drive process improvements and lead exciting projects that enhance local mental health services
Collaborate with community stakeholders including working closely with Aboriginal clients and communities
Youll work business hours with participation in an after-hours on-call roster (some flexibility and out-of-hours work may be required)
What Youll Bring
Registered (or eligible to register) with Ahpra under General Nursing
Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years post-registration experience
Strong expertise in mental health nursing aligned with professional standards
Leadership and supervision experience across a multidisciplinary team
Current drivers licence
