Impactful Contribution: As a Finance Business Partner you will play a pivotal role in the Pobl Group Homes and Communities division assisting senior leaders in making informed financial decisions. Your work directly contributes to the divisions strategic thinking and financial success.
Diverse and Challenging: Youll be part of a dynamic team working across a wide geographic spread with a turnover in the Division totals c.130 million per annum and largely comprises rent and service charge income from general needs & supported housing accommodation and grant income. The division has 20000 units to manage across South Wales.
Key Collaboration: Youll collaborate closely with both the Divisional Management Team and the Finance Team bringing sound commercial skills and the skills associated with a great accountant and communicator.
Professional Growth: This role offers opportunities for personal and professional growth including line management responsibilities and involvement in shaping the companys financial plans.
Where does the role fit in
As a Finance Business Partner your role is at the heart of the Homes and Communities Division supporting senior leaders in strategic decision-making and financial planning. You will also collaborate closely with the Finance Team ensuring financial data adds significant value to the division.
What skills and experience do you need
Were on the lookout for a dynamic individual whos not just numbers-savvy but also a team leader a strategic thinker and a champion of continuous improvement. As a Finance Business Partner your role is essential in requiring Management Accounting experience. Ideally youll have experience in the Social Housing and Homes and Communities Sectors. Leading a high-performing team is a must as is the ability to present management accounts and prepare reports for senior managers. We need someone willing to challenge the status quo and embrace challenges with enthusiasm all while being a competent user of Microsoft office and modern management information systems. Your qualifications should include at least a degree level education or equivalent postgraduate qualifications or equivalent senior-level experience and you are a Qualified Accountant. An understanding of business environments risks and challenges would be a great bonus.
