Job Description
The Packaging Operator I is responsible for packaging metered dose inhalation (MDI) products in compliance with cGMP SOPs and safety standards in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This is a multifunctional role with occasional cross-support in manufacturing facilities and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently

Perform cleaning changeovers and routine equipment checks

Ensure accurate documentation of batch records and line status

Follow departmental SOPs and health & safety protocols

Support preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting

Maintain compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards

Participate in daily production activities and support team goals

Assist in training new operators when needed

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
College certificate or degree preferred

Minimum 1 year of experience in packaging operations preferred

Understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements

Basic mechanical knowledge of machinery and control systems

Proficient in reading and writing in English

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Ability to wear PPE and respiratory protection as needed

Standing bending and repetitive motion throughout shift
