The Stonebranch Scheduler Production Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing task scheduling processes and workflows through the Scheduler platform.
Their mission is to ensure efficient management of automated processes while guaranteeing the reliability and performance of critical task execution systems related to the Oracle ERP.
Responsibilities
Task Scheduling Management:
- Configure deploy and maintain processes and tasks in the Scheduler.
- Optimize task scheduling based on business priorities.
- Monitor task dependencies and ensure timely execution.
Maintenance and Support:
- Monitor and diagnose anomalies related to workflow execution.
- Participate in real-time resolution of production incidents.
- Propose improvements and optimization solutions for scheduling processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify automation opportunities to enhance process efficiency.
- Implement performance optimization solutions for the scheduler (reducing wait times better resource management).
Collaboration with Technical Teams:
- Work closely with development infrastructure system administration teams and business-side product owners to ensure integrity and availability of production environments.
- Participate in the update of Scheduler tools and versions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of scheduling processes.
- Provide regular reports on task status scheduler performance and any incidents.
- Provide a production plan by region and globally.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree (Bac 5) in Computer Science or a related field (e.g. Systems Engineering Production Engineering).
Experience:
- Proven experience in task scheduling management using a Scheduler tool.
- Knowledge of Oracle systems: ESS / OCI / OIC.
- Experience in business process automation and workflow management.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using Stonebranch Scheduler.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash Python etc.).
- Understanding of continuous integration concepts and automated deployment processes.
Personal Qualities:
- Strong organizational skills and task prioritization.
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure in production environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Innovation mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
Language:
- English: C1 level
