Job Description
Are you a Diesel Fitter looking to begin stepping up into leadership roles We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Fitter (7/7 day/night roster) to join our team. You will work with the team to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and safety is paramount. Key duties will include:
- Servicing and repairs of Heavy Mobile equipment including but not limited to 793F Rear dumps D10T Dozers. D11T Dozers 18M Graders
- Working closely with the reliability team and OEM to identify and maintain high equipment standards and availability.
- Maintaining daily work management equipment and safety standards.
- Operating within sites SHMS
- Stepping up into Leading Hand and Supervisor roles when required
Qualifications :
What we expect from you:
- Australian recognized trade certificate (Mechanical fitter)
- At least 3 years mining experience with exposure to 793F Rear dumps D10T Dozers. D11T Dozers 18M Graders
- Ability to prioritize work effectively
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- A can do attitude
- SAP experience (or willing to learn)
- Contribute to a safety first culture
- Ability to identify and report hazards
- Adhere to sites SHMS
- Engage and or conduct Leading Safety interactions
