Administrative Assistant III -Sunset Primary School
This is an 8 hour/day position under the Classified Bargaining Unit for the 2025-2026 school year. The start date isAugust 19 2025.
DEFINITION
Under the supervision of an Assistant Principal or Administrator with a similar level of responsibility performs a variety of office management and clerical tasks including facilitating communications among supervisor parents and staff; manages files and other record keeping systems; collects and analyzes information; prepares oral and written reports; and performs related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
Employees at this level work under the general supervision of an Administrator with responsibilities of a high school Assistant Principal and serves as an information liaison among the Administrator teachers other district personnel and the general public. This position is distinguished from the Administrative Assistant IV position because this position does not require the coordination of the work of other clerical employees in the same office.
