About the Role

The Logistics Manager for Head Start Monitoring Reviews leads the planning and coordination of all travel and logistical arrangements required for Head Start monitoring reviews. This role ensures timely and cost-effective support for deploying review teams across multiple sites nationwide and collaborates closely with scheduling field operations and program staff.

This position supports the operational backbone of the OHS Monitoring Program enabling reviews to occur efficiently and effectively at recipient locations across the country. By ensuring smooth reviewer travel and deployment logistics the Logistics Manager helps uphold program integrity and timely federal oversight of Head Start services.

The Logistics Manager will supervise assigned staff members supervising and supporting performance fostering a collaborative team environment and managing personnel processes.

There are multiple factors considered in determining final pay for a position including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and competencies that align with the specified role geographic location education as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

BCT offers a competitive total compensation package that for this position includes a base salary between $85000 and $95000 along with a generous benefits package. This is a remote position located in any of the fifty United States or Washington DC. This Project:

Head Start (HS) is a national program that provides comprehensive child development services primarily to low-income children and their families and includes Early Head Start (EHS) Migrant and Seasonal Head Start (MSHS) as well as American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) programs.

The Head Start program is administered by the Office of Head Start (OHS) Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The Head Start Act and OHS require periodic monitoring and review of all federally funded Head Start programs to ensure adherence to Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) and regulations. This project is responsible for the monitor review scheduling team deployment and management travel planning and logistics content area expertise conducting reviews and monitoring report drafting.
