Position Overview: Austin INFINITI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Used Car Operations to spearhead the establishment and management of our Used Car Super Store. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize the performance and profitability of our used car division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to establish and grow the Used Car Super Store within Austin INFINITI.
  • Lead all aspects of used car operations including inventory management pricing strategies sales processes and customer experience initiatives.
  • Recruit train and manage a high-performing team of sales professionals appraisers and support staff.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers auctions and other sources of pre-owned vehicle inventory.
  • Analyze market trends competitive landscape and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and advertising strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to used car sales and operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales with a focus on used cars; previous experience in a leadership or management role is required.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with the capability to interpret data identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Deep understanding of the automotive industry including market dynamics consumer behavior and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software (DMS); experience with inventory management tools is a plus.

  • 5-day work week.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $150k
