We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our busy team specialising in employers and public liability claims as well as industrial disease matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to manage their own caseload working closely with a wide variety of clients and supporting our legal team in all aspects of the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied caseload of employers liability public liability and industrial disease claims including both pre-litigated and litigated matters
Liaising directly with clients to obtain instructions and provide regular updates
Drafting legal documentation correspondence and court forms
Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
Managing the litigation process from inception to resolution including disclosure witness statements and trial preparation
Maintaining accurate records using case management systems and online trackers
Supporting completion and post-completion activities including reporting to clients and handling post-settlement matters

Required Qualifications and Experience;
Previous experience as a Paralegal handling employers liability public liability and/or industrial disease claims
Demonstrable experience managing litigated claims and a strong understanding of litigation processes
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
Proficient in the use of legal technology case management systems and Microsoft Office
A degree in law or equivalent qualification is desirable; candidates working towards CILEX or with significant relevant experience will also be considered
