Our Operating Theatres have an opportunity for an experienced Perioperative leader to join our theatre team on a full time basis. Reporting to our Nurse Unit Manager Operating Theatresyou will bring the clinical knowledge and leadership required to ensure the provision of exceptional service is maintained every day. You will play a vital role in the daily functioning of the theatre department as you will oversee all the services and processes in placeto support the clinical teams working within each theatre.
Key responsibilities include:
Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery orthopaedics spinal plastics urology ENT Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbanes leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.
About you
As an experienced leader you will have extensive experienceworking in Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery ina fast-paced theatre complex (approximately 400 procedures pw).
You will have demonstrated proven experience or a keen interest in people development and leading team culture whilst having a thorough depth of knowledge in ACORN & National Standards. To be successful you will have:
