Physician Assistants provide a wide range of health care services including the diagnosis and management of acute chronic and complex health problems as it relates to skin disorders and conditions.
Responsibilities
- Ordering performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as biopsies and lab work.
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic skin disorders and conditions. Prescribing medications and other treatments when needed.
- Managing patients overall care.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care our patients deserve.
- Review all new client intake forms and document client treatments and plans of care.
- Build patient partnerships by appropriately matching patient needs to the various services and products offered and clearly educating the patient on how they will receive the most benefit.
- Attend/conduct in-house training programs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Clinical Dermatology aesthetic services and treatments
- Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Well organized efficient and able to operate in a busy work environment
- Operates in a transparent manner with integrity
- Willingness to succeed and grow individually as well as part of a team
- Ability to adhere to designated standards and protocols for medical documentation for services performed.
- Have thorough knowledge of skincare and cosmetic products in order to appropriately develop patient prescriptions.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of all medical protocols standard operating procedures and policies.
- Ability to work under an assigned supervising physician.
- Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management.
Licensure/Certifications/Education
Education and Experience:
- At least 2 years experience in Dermatology
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- State Licensure
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.
