The Ear Nose and Throat Operating Unit is a global leader and trusted partner for innovative ENT solutions that improve patient access outcomes and customer satisfaction. In this exciting role as a Regional Capital Manager (ENT) you will serve as a strategic sales expert responsible for promoting and selling Medtronic ENTs capital and service portfolio within a defined region. This position plays a critical role in advancing innovative ENT technologies that improve patient outcomes across surgical settings.

You will develop and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholdersincluding surgeons hospital administrators and practice managerswhile managing large complex accounts and coordinating with cross-functional teams. As a trusted advisor youll lead market development strategies support clinical teams in surgical environments and drive competitive conversions and strategic growth across the region.

This high-visibility role reports to the Regional Sales Director and partners closely with Marketing Sales Leadership and Operations to influence strategy share market insights and deliver on ambitious sales targets. With minimal oversight youll engage directly with senior hospital executives negotiate high-impact deals and help shape the future of ENT care.

Travel Requirement:
This position requires approximately 5075% travel across the assigned region.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Promotes and sells Medtronics ENT products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing building and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians nurses audiologists hospital administrators and practice managers.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronics Neuro ENT products and/or services.

  • Provides support and service to clinical personnel as it relates to the products in a surgical environment.

  • Promotes and establishes education of the companys products and/or services.

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.

  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D Operations and Marketing.

Must Have: Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelors Degree AND 7 years of sales experience with 5 of those 7 years in medical sales; or

  • Bachelors Degree AND 5 years of Medtronic Neuroscience(Pain Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience plus 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience.

Nice to Have:

  • Successful medical sales record preferably with ENT products

  • Knowledge of ENT assigned product/therapy customer base

  • Excellent inter-personal and organizational skills

  • Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience

Additional Job Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile

  • Required to interact with a computer for extended periods of time and communicate with peers and co-workers

  • Regularly required to talk or hear

  • Frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms

  • Regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to finger handle or feel

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus

  • This position is based out of the Representatives residence where physical effort is minimal; must be able to carry products.

  • Requires the incumbent to maintain and transport demonstration equipment to customers premises as required. 30% physical handling of this equipment is therefore integral to the position.

Must have a valid drivers license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your be able to drive approximately 75% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$100000.00 - $100000.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
