This position is on ground on the Dallas campus located in Richardson Texas.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Psychologydepartment is seeking highly qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positionsat ourDallas Campus to teach in our Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program. Our faculty members typify a scholar-practitioner model of education to teach doctoral-level psychology courses and integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Principal Duties:
Design and implement course instruction and provide evaluation of students.
Maintain communication with department administration faculty and students.
Position Qualifications:
Doctoral degree required in clinical psychology or relevant area of scientific psychology (developmental psychology social psychology quantitative psychology/statistics or experimental psychology).
Graduate of an APA accredited doctoral program (if degree is in clinical or counseling psychology).
Certain courses require licensure as a health service psychologist.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Neuropsychology diversity social psychology cognitive psychology cognitive therapy and behavioral therapy.
Successful graduate-level teaching is preferred but not required.
Strong commitment to graduate instruction academic excellence training effective clinicians diversity and community service.
