Job Overview
The Business Process Analyst supports process improvement efforts across the organization. This role involves documenting current processes identifying issues helping implement changes and supporting training and communication. It requires attention to detail solid organizational skills and working with others to solve problems.
Knowledge of Federal Firearms License (FFL) processes is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
Investigate process issues using root cause analysis and suggest solutions.
Map and document business processes using standard tools.
Work with business units to gather information share updates and support training for new or updated processes.
Maintain clear and accurate process documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Build and update reports and dashboards to show key metrics.
Use data to find process gaps delays or improvement opportunities.
Write test cases for new or updated software features and process changes.
Take part in user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing.
Assist with day-to-day NetSuite case management and handle routine administrative tasks related to user support and system configuration.
Handle administrative tasks that support ongoing projects.
Help with rollout and adoption of process changes including documentation and training support.
Perform other tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Experience with Excel Power BI or similar data tools.
Solid problem-solving skills.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Able to explain data findings in a straightforward way.
Works well independently and in teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with process mapping tools (e.g. Lucidchart Visio) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
NetSuite BigCommerce or CyberSource
Jira GitHub or Bitbucket
Experience writing or executing software test cases
Familiarity with FFL processes
Comfort working with Power BI for building and interpreting dashboards
