Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Technician

The Logistics Technician supports key logistics functions including material movement inventory control kitting shipping and receiving within a medical device manufacturing environment. A critical function of this role is accurately issuing components to assembly jobs and managing inventory within the M2M ERP system. The technician works closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely and traceable material flow while maintaining compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 requirements.

Job Description:

  • Issue components to work orders and assembly jobs using M2M ERP ensuring correct quantities and traceability
  • Perform kitting of components for assembly jobs verifying part numbers and quantities for accuracy
  • Assign inventory locations within the warehouse and accurately record them in M2M ERP
  • Physically store materials in assigned inventory locations and maintain warehouse organization
  • Prepare physical parts for shipping department and assign finished goods to sales order for customer shipments.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records lot control and FIFO rotation through M2M ERP
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines
  • Assist with general warehouse organization cleanliness and 5S activities
  • Coordinate product between plants
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in logistics and inventory accuracy
  • Updating ECN/ECR by logging received requests and processing changes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED ; technical or logistics training preferred
  • 2 years of experience in logistics warehouse operations or inventory control in a manufacturing setting
  • Prior experience with M2M ERP (or similar manufacturing ERP systems) strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and related documentation
  • Familiarity with FDA ISO 13485 and GMP compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment safely
