The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and business performance across multiple operational sites. This position is responsible for consolidating and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) supporting strategic planning and fostering innovation through data-driven insights. The role involves developing automated reporting tools coordinating cross-functional initiatives and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a temporary position (18 - 20 Months).

What will you do:

  • Consolidate the performance results and the main Continuous Improvement and business indicators. Follow continuous improvement pipeline.

  • Monitor and analyze the main indicators of the business and support the leadership to foster the generation of innovative ideas with the teams to leverage the companys results.

  • Prepare and present reports and presentations of the Continuous Improvement in a clear concise and direct way to leadership. Coordinate the development and updating of the strategic plan. Develop training materials for the Continuous Improvement culture.

  • Serve as a Super-User in McKinsey Wave responsible for User Management and Configuration Management

  • Develop and maintainautomated reporting solutionsusing McKinsey Wave and Power BI to monitor and compareactual project value realizationagainst planned targets

  • Adhere to and promote established change management protocols

  • Collaborate proactively withoperations engineering and cross-functional teamsto foster strong working relationships and drive alignment across initiatives

  • Support the development and enhancement Power Apps solutions for operations

What will you need:

  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering (Mining or other) Science or Business Administration

  • 8 years relevant experience

  • Solid experience in analysis tools business performance costs and production analysis.

  • Experienced in production (Mining Concentrates and/or Potash)

  • Experience in Agile methods in practice (Scrum Kanban Design Thinking) preferred

  • Experience working with AVEVA PI historian (including PI Vision PI Asset Framework PI Datalink) is considered an asset

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel PowerPoint and Word

  • Working knowledge of Power BI for automated data visualization and reporting is preferred

  • Prior experience working in an industrial environment with a strong preference for direct experience at potash mining operations

  • Familiarity with Mosaics Operational Information System (OIS) is considered an asset

  • Proven Change Management (excellent communication skills negotiation convincing and integration) preferred

  • Intermediate/advanced Office suite.

  • Power BI and other App Views

  • Advantage Excel

  • Analytics (data modeling architect) preferred
