Job Description

Since 2025 roda has been part of the Swedish MilDef Group and as Legal Counsel for roda you will be part of MilDef Groups dedicated legal team. We specialize in delivering robust IT systems for the defense sector and are committed to providing reliable and resilient solutions tailored to the most demanding environments.

For you as Legal Counsel this means a unique opportunity to take on a wide range of challenging legal tasks make a significant contribution to our growth and risk management and truly make a difference in our company.

Your Key Responsibilities

As our Legal Counsel your expertise will be critical across a range of areas. Your responsibilities will include everything from contract negotiations to ensuring global legal compliance. You will work closely with various departments and the legal and compliance teams in Sweden. In short you will contribute to the legal departments agenda both in daily operations and at the strategic level.

Main responsibilities:

  • Draft review and negotiate contracts in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Identify risks and provide legal advice on matters affecting the business.
  • Provide legal support for corporate matters acquisitions and other internal and external projects.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements from a global perspective.
  • Continuously develop collect and structure legal templates and best practices.
  • Support the organizations data protection compliance.

What You Bring

  • A German university degree in law.
  • At least 5 years of experience as in-house counsel or in a law firm.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a business-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive structured and independent working style.
