Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON) Contract Position

End Date: September 20 2025
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $70 - $75 per hour (based on experience)
Guarantee: 40 hours per week

Job Overview:
Sistersville Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team on an 8-week contract basis. This position will play a critical role in overseeing all nursing operations and ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a crisis compliance environment. This is an immediate need due to a new opening at the facility and we are looking for someone who can start quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Lead mentor and manage the nursing team to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
• Manage nursing staff schedules ensuring proper staffing levels at all times.
• Conduct performance reviews and address any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care for residents.
• Ensure that nursing staff comply with facility policies procedures and regulations.
• Manage clinical outcomes and work to improve patient satisfaction and care quality.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher; Masters preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in a management role.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work 40 hours per week with the potential for overtime.
• This position is for a contract role with a start date of July 28 2025 and end date of September 20 2025.

Bonuses:

• Quick Start Bonus: $500 if you start within 1 week or less of receiving the offer.
• Completion Bonus: $1500 for completing the full 8-week contract with no more than 2 call-outs and no no-call-no-shows (NCNS).
