Job Description
-
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN WLAN VPN SD-WAN / WAN / MAN / SDN).
-
Configure and install (physical and VM based) software servers routers firewalls and other network devices.
-
Monitor network performance and integrity.
-
Tier 3 Support - Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
-
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
-
Professional certifications are preferred (e.g. CCNP CCDP CCIE etc.).
-
Solid background in network administration and architecture in a wired and wireless enterprise infrastructure leveraging MPLS VLAN VRFs and VxLAN.
-
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP OSPF).
-
Familiarity with access control models and network security.
-
Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python Perl).
-
Experience with network diagnostic monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds Splunk etc.).
-
Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS Cisco IOS).
-
Sharp troubleshooting skills.
-
Ability to work independently or within a group.

Cisco family of routers and switches (ASR Nexus Catalyst).

Juniper family of router switches firewalls and Mist.
-
PaloAlto family of security products.
-
F5 Viprion suite of products (Loadbalancing and DNS).
-
VM NSX-T and AVI Loadbalancer.
-
InfoBlox IPAM DNS and DHCP.
-
Solarwinds NPM.
