Position: TGT English Teacher

Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the curriculum.
- Teach English language and literature to students in grades 6-10.
- Assess students progress and provide feedback to improve their academic performance.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Create a positive learning environment that fosters student growth and engagement.
- Coordinate with other teachers to integrate interdisciplinary approaches.
- Maintain accurate records of students attendance and performance.
- Plan and participate in school events parent-teacher meetings and community outreach activities.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Provide additional assistance to struggling students through tutoring and personalized instruction.
- Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities related to language arts.
- Stay updated on educational trends and best practices in English language teaching.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain discipline.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Conduct regular assessments to measure student improvement and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English Education or related field.
- Teaching certification for the target grade levels.
- Proven experience as an English teacher or in a similar educational role.
- Strong understanding of curriculum standards and educational practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and educational technology.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
