You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Contract & Commercial Management within a product manufacturing environment. The role involves end-to-end handling of commercial contracts tender evaluation bid support claims settlement documentation compliance vendor coordination and ensuring risk mitigation and cost control across the commercial lifecycle.
Review and evaluate tender documents to support commercial decision-making.
Assist Sales and Marketing teams in preparing bids/proposals in line with client specifications and pre-qualification criteria.
Identify and flag gray areas or high-risk clauses in tenders and contracts to mitigate risks.
Draft negotiate and manage customer and vendor contracts related to product supply services and support.
Track and ensure compliance with payment terms delivery schedules and contract milestones.
Handle change orders amendments delay analysis and delivery extension processes.
Prepare and negotiate additional claims for scope changes extra work or commercial impacts.
Coordinate closure of contracts with final documentation compliance checks and claim settlements.
Coordinate with internal teams for dispatches billing and documentation as per contractual obligations.
Review and verify vendor invoices GRNs and dispatch notes for billing accuracy.
Maintain and generate MIS reports including cash flow order status and outstanding payments.
Ensure compliance with SEZ regulations (if applicable) import/export procedures and statutory documentation.
Interface with clients and internal departments for clarification and alignment on contract execution.
Guide project/sales teams on contractual matters including billing documentation and dispute resolution.
Coordinate with site/production teams to ensure delivery and documentation are as per client contract.
Ensure adherence to applicable taxation laws (GST TDS WCT Labor Cess etc.).
Manage commercial instruments like Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
Monitor and support project or product line cash flow pricing impact and claim recovery.
Bachelors degree in Engineering / Commerce / Law; MBA (Operations/Finance/Contracts) is an advantage.
10 20 years of experience in contract/commercial management in a product manufacturing setup.
Strong understanding of commercial laws supply chain processes and taxation.
Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems and commercial documentation.
