Job Description
Title: Sales Representative (Full-Time)
Location: Savage Maryland (In-Person)
We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for a leading Japanese Food Distributor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective territory management and customer engagement. The Sales Representative will be developing and maintaining positive customer and vendor relations.
Duties:
- Maintain and establish customer and vendor relations
- Presentations to customers (New Items Sales Performance Reviews etc)
- Constant research and update of information regarding trends products competitors
- Travel for business events (weekends included)
- Monitors customer invoices and credits
- Other related duties as needed
Education/Skills/Experience:
- 2 years in related field preferred (Candidates without prior experience will also be considered.)
- College graduate or equivalent work experience
- Database management skills and experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills required (Excel Word Powerpoint)
- Familiar with Japanese food culture preferred
- Fluency in both English and Korean
Other Qualifications:
- Dependable work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service oriented
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proven record of maintaining high accuracy under tight deadlines
- Ability to travel locally to visit clients and attend industry events as needed.
- Valid drivers license required. After a 3-month probationary period a company vehicle will be provided for sales-related travel.
- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required
