JOB PURPOSE:
The DCM Case Management Supervisor manages a team of Case Managers providing disaster case management services to individuals and families impacted by disasters. The Case Management Supervisor ensures staff are completing Needs Assessments developing Service Plans and making appropriate community referrals for additional services. The Case Management Supervisor ensures staff maintains appropriate contact with the client that quality services are provided and that their Service Plan is completed in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in behavioral sciences human services or social servicesfields.
-OR-
High School diploma or GED is required with 4 years experience in lieu of Bachelors experience in child welfare emergency disaster response and/or recovery environments toinclude working within multi-disciplinary teams to develop case plans with specified goals andoutcomes is strongly preferred. 2 years in supervisory roles. Bilingual (English/Spanish)communication skills are also preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree: 4 years prior experience in child welfare emergencydisaster response and/or recovery environments to include working within multi-disciplinaryteams to develop case plans with specified goals and outcomes is strongly preferred. 2 yearsin supervisory experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are also preferred.

High School diploma/GED: Prior experience in child welfare emergency disaster responseand/or recovery environments to include working within multi-disciplinary teams to develop caseplans with specified goals and outcomes is strongly preferred. 2 years in supervisory (English/Spanish) communication skills are also preferred.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined inthe employers sole discretion.
LICENSES: Drivers License with clear record.
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency asthe business need dictates and have access daily to reliable transportation. Must pass criminalbackground checks.
