Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Podar Education Networks Ramanagara location. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of work experience in clinical psychology. The role involves providing psychological assessments therapy and support within an educational setting to enhance the mental health and well-being of our students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in psychology with a minimum of 1 year in a clinical setting.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical psychology principles and practices. (Mandatory skill)
- Proficient in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations. (Mandatory skill)
- Skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for diverse populations.
- Experienced in mental health counseling providing therapeutic support to students.
- Adept at mental health screening to identify and address issues promptly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students parents and staff.
- Exceptional communication abilities for conveying complex psychological concepts clearly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to understand student needs and challenges.
- Deliver cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic interventions to students.
- Provide mental health counseling support to promote emotional and psychological well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individualized support plans for students.
- Identify students requiring additional mental health support through screenings.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute insights on student mental health.
- Engage with parents to provide guidance on supporting student mental well-being at home.
