What youll do...
Job Summary:
As a member of the US Domestic Transportation Operational Analytics Team you will create and maintain complex analytics business intelligence products/pipelines analyze business data identify trends and support process improvements to drive operational efficiency in Walmarts transportation network.
About the Team:
Youll join the US Domestic Transportation Operational Analytics Team based in Bentonville AR working closely with cross-functional partners to optimize transportation operations using advanced analytics and business intelligence products.
What Youll Do:
Analyze business data and metrics to support the development of business cases and recommendations.
Identify and validate data sources ensuring data quality and relevance for analytics projects.
Develop and present data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Support data quality management activities including profiling cleansing and validation.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to implement solutions.
What Youll Bring:
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (such as Python R Tableau PowerBI).
Strong understanding of business operations and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience with data quality management and database technologies (SQL NoSQL).
Effective communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively and mentor junior team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Statistics Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
2 years of experience in data analytics business analysis or a related field.
Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
Knowledge of data quality management and data governance practices.
Youll sweep us off our feet if:
You have 4 years of experience in transportation or supply chain analytics.
You have hands-on experience with advanced statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis.
You have a track record of supporting process improvements through data-driven recommendations.
