LCRA Transmission seeks a resourceful and highly organized manager to lead EMS Applications teams consisting of EMS SCADA EMS Power System Modeling and EMS Software. The EMS is a critical system is used by LCRAs Transmission System Operations to monitor and control the electric transmission grid. You will provide leadership for driving outstanding customer service and support by coordinating with other managers in Technical Support team The position will also have the responsibility for handling vendors crafting budgets planning strategically and driving constant process improvements. You will be trusted to:
- Support LCRA TSCs annual capital plan by allocating budget and resources.
- Develop goals and track their progress
- Handle the needs of customers and end users by developing roadmaps and strategies for implementing new tools and technologies
- Plan for position promotions personnel development training and career growth.
- Support all compliance activities (CIP/EOP/FAC/TOP) for the team.
- Mature existing processes to ensure constant improvement.
You qualify with:
- Twelve years of experience in engineering including experience providing leadership in engineering or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in math computer science engineering or related field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- For Water Services requires a Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas
- Drivers license
