Mechanics
Examining vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical electrical or hydraulic problems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
Performing both minor and major repairs on engines transmissions brakes hydraulic systems electrical systems and other components.
Replacing defective or worn-out parts including engines transmissions and other sub-assemblies.
Conducting routine maintenance tasks like oil changes lubrication fluid level checks and tune-ups to prevent breakdowns.
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
Ensuring all work is performed according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
Working with other mechanics and team members to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently.
In some roles interacting with customers to explain necessary repairs and provide updates on vehicle status.
Traveling to job sites to service and repair heavy equipment when needed.
