Job Summary:
This role is for an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer responsible for performing echocardiograms and related procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience and involves on-call responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience with various echocardiography techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Performing various echocardiography procedures including 3-D Echo Bubble Study Imaging with Contrast Agents M-Mode Pharmacologic Stress Echo Portable Studies Routine and Treadmill Stress Echo.
- Utilizing Philips equipment (preferred).
- Adhering to isolation precautions.
- Utilizing Cerner electronic health record system (preferred).
- Working in Adult Acute Care Adult Outpatient ER and ICU settings.
- Responding to on-call requests (4-5 days per 6-week schedule including at least one weekend day).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echo Tech.
- ARDMS and CCI certifications preferred.
- Experience with Adult Acute Care Adult Outpatient ER and ICU settings.
- Proficiency in various echocardiography techniques (3-D Echo Bubble Study etc.).
- Knowledge of isolation precautions.
- Active license (pending licenses accepted).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Philips echocardiography equipment.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
Special Considerations:
- On-call requirement: 4-5 days per 6-week schedule including at least one weekend day.
- No floating between departments.
- Block scheduling is attempted but not guaranteed.
- Up to 36 hours of call-offs allowed per 13-week assignment without pay; additional call-offs will be billed.
- On-call shifts count as call-offs.
- Return to office (RTO) restrictions: ideally no more than 5 days.
- Accepts applicants from any geographic location.
Scheduling:
- 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).
- On-call schedule: 4-5 days per 6-week schedule including at least one weekend day.
- Block scheduling is attempted but not guaranteed.
