Job Description
Job Title: Lead Production Technician
Location: Hattiesburg MS
Shift/Work Schedule: Full-Time 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Compensation: As per Exp.

The Production Lead plays a crucial role in supervising daily operations on the production floor. Youll lead your shift team to ensure safety quality efficiency and housekeeping standards are consistently met. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring technical knowledge of production systems strong communication skills and a commitment to team development.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead coach and supervise all shift employees

Execute product and packaging changeovers efficiently

Maintain low-cost high-efficiency high-quality production practices

Ensure proper raw material and promotional material usage
-
Monitor and enforce Client safety standards and PPE compliance
-
Communicate production status and handoffs with next shift lead and supervisor
-
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
-
Monitor quality assurance guidelines and enforce GMP and food safety policies
-
Perform daily housekeeping and recycling tasks
-
Track and report production metrics and performance issues
-
Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment
-
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role preferred

Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities under pressure
-
Team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach others

Self-motivated dependable and leads by example

Forklift operation skills required (must pass Forklift Operator certification test)

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs walk/stand for prolonged periods bend stoop and reach

Willingness to work in varying temperature environments (60 90 F or more)

Availability to work overtime as needed during peak periods
