Job Description

Job Title- Procurement Jr. Professional
Job Location- Bhubaneswar Odisha
Working Day- 6
Slary upto - 8 LPA
Experience Minimum 3 Years in handling high value contracts for different services such as Mining Geology Project Plant & Machinery Operation & Maintenance Civil Works Manpower IT Services etc.
Experience & knowledge in SAP MM Module/ e-procurement/ GeM Portal/ Procurement in Govt. sector/ PSU
(Other keywords: Materials management Logistics Management Inventory management Warehouse management Procurement Cost optimization Vendor Management )

Key Responsibilities:

  • Materials Management:

    • Plan and manage the flow of materials from suppliers to production and dispatch.

    • Monitor material requirements to avoid shortages or excess.

  • Logistics Management:

    • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations.

    • Coordinate with transport partners to ensure timely delivery and dispatch.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with demand forecasts and budget targets.

    • Implement inventory control measures to minimize obsolescence and pilferage.

  • Warehouse Management:

    • Supervise warehouse operations layout optimization and space utilization.

    • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in warehousing.

  • Procurement:

    • Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.

    • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to improve quality and reduce costs.

  • Vendor Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.

    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.

  • Cost Optimization:

    • Analyze supply chain expenses and identify areas for cost reduction.

    • Implement best practices to improve efficiency across processes.

  • Reporting & Compliance:

    • Prepare periodic reports on inventory procurement and logistics metrics.

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
